Experience
Twenty-five years of industry experience and a shareholder and co-founder of Cornerstone Advisors Asset Management, Inc. and Cornerstone Institutional Investors, Inc.
Tom has spent his entire career in financial services, having acquired a keen business sense from the ground up. He has specialized in the qualified retirement plan business since 1992 and has advised more than 150 corporate clients during that time. Tom became CEO of the Cornerstone companies in 2002. As such, his primary responsibilities include strategic planning, development of Cornerstone's Lead Team, employee selection and mentoring. He has a strong belief that each individual has set of unique abilities, and if properly developed and nurtured, will lead to great employee satisfaction. When combined with other team members' unique abilities, this leads to an organization with a high achievement culture.
Awards, Honors & Qualifications
Tom has been nominated by both Plan Sponsor Magazine and American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries as one of the top retirement plan advisers in the country. He has been a speaker at several national industry conferences including the Center for Due Diligence and M Financial Group, where he has spoken on a variety of topics impacting retirement plans.

Community and Professional Service
Board Member and 1st Vice Chairman, Sacred Heart Hospital, Allentown, PA. Currently serves on the Executive, Finance, Investment, Foundation, Compensation and Nominating Committees. Has served since 2005.
Diocese of Allentown, Investment Committee Member. Has served as part of the
lay committee that oversees the investments for the pension plans for
the Diocese of Allentown since 2007.
Board Member and Treasurer, Lehigh Country Club, Allentown, PA. Currently serves as head of the Finance Committee, developing and monitoring capital and operating budgets. Has served since 2008.
Junior High School Girls Volleyball Coach. Has been head coach for Cathedral School/Girls volleyball teams since 2004.
Personal
Tom and his wife Amy will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary in September 2013. They have three children, Bryan, Mary and Sarah. They enjoy traveling, having visited thirty-four states in their motorhome since 2003. Some of their favorite trips have been to the Grand Canyon, Mt. Rushmore, Quebec City and Florida, as well as a few Penn State Games and Springsteen concerts. Tom enjoys all sports, especially football and golf.
